Our contribution to the field

The EAAE brings together agricultural economists interested in the challenges of the agricultural and food industries, bioeconomy, and rural development in Europe.

Mission and objectives

The main objectives of the Association are:

Collaborations with international associations

Building bridges to strengthen our field

The EAAE collaborates with sister associations around the world to promote agricultural and resource economics, foster analytical capacities in all areas relevant for agriculture (food sector, rural development and natural resources…) and exchange knowledge and ideas between professionals.

Memorandums of Understanding (MoU’s)

These collaborations are formalised through Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), which specify the kind of activities they agree to perform to foster cooperation, create synergies and broaden the dissemination of activities across members.
