PhD Workshop
Presenting and discussing doctoral research
Held every two years, the EAAE PhD Workshop offers European doctoral students a unique opportunity to present their ongoing research in a conference settings and receive constructive feedback from peers and senior economists.
Participants benefit from plenary sessions where keynote speakers share their latest contributions and offer practical guidance on conducting impactful research in agricultural, environmental, food, and development economics.
Each workshop also includes a session dedicated to academic publishing in the field, supported by the EAAEP Foundation.
Participation is open to all PhD students, regardless of EAAE membership.
How to organise a PhD Workshop
If you would like to organise a future PhD Workshop, please send a proposal to the Secretary-General at secretariat@eaae.org. Include details of the organizing institution, the proposed dates and venue and registration fee.
The EAAE Board reviews all proposals and decides whether to endorse them. Once approved, the Board supports the organisers with the call for papers, plenary sessions, and publication in the EAAE Newsletter. A contract ensures both parties meet EAAE requirements.
After the workshop, organisers are asked to submit a short report to the Secretariat.
