They facilitate the flow of information between the colleagues in their country and the EAAE and vice versa. If a Memorandum of Understanding between the National Association and the EAAE exists, they also have a role in the execution of this MoU. At each Congress, a meeting of Liaison Officers is organised to discuss further possibilities of cooperation between the EAAE and the agricultural economics community in their countries.
