The committees are:
Congress committees
The EAAE organises its biennial congress by appointing two committees, namely the Local Organising Committee and the Scientific Programme Committee.
The Local Organising Committee of the Congress is responsible for the practical organisation of the congress. The Scientific Programme Committee is responsible for the scientific content of the congress, including tasks such as the selection and invitation of keynote speakers, the preparation of the call for contributions, and the review and selection of submitted contributions.
Communication committee
The Communications Committee is responsible for implementing the communication plan of the EAAE.
Its tasks include communication with both the public and members through the website and LinkedIn, as well as targeted communication to members via the NewsFlash.
Young researcher committee
The EAAE pays special attention to the career development of young researchers.
To this end, it organises activities such as the PhD Workshop, the Mentoring Programme, and Reading Circles.
Events committee
The Events Committee is responsible for the endorsement of EAAE seminars and webinars and for the contractual arrangements with seminar organisers.
In addition, the committee oversees the evaluation of events.
