EAAE Congress
The Congress includes plenary and parallel sessions, poster presentations and opportunities for professional networking, supporting knowledge exchange and collaboration across disciplines and countries.
Purpose and scope of the congress
The EAAE Congress brings together around 1,000 academics, researchers, practitioners, stakeholders, and policymakers from across the world to discuss the latest challenges and innovations shaping the agri-food sector.
Each edition focuses on a central theme within the broad field of agricultural economics, creating a space for dialogue between science, policy, and practice.
Upcoming Congresses
Become a host of the EAAE Congress
Three to four years before each edition, the EAAE Board publishes a Call for Bids on the website and in the Newsletter . This call includes all the details required to prepare a proposal (“bid book”), including venue, facilities, accommodation, schedule, publication plans, and congress fees.
Proposals are typically submitted by active EAAE members with proven experience in organising seminars or similar events. After reviewing all submissions, the EAAE Board evaluates each proposal based on the published criteria and announces the winning bid at the next Congress.
